Volunteer

Welcoming volunteers!

We are looking for volunteers to help us continue to build the new Bamboo
School, and to teach English classes to students after school 3-5pm,
Monday to Friday. The classes range from beginners, intermediate to advanced and
children are aged between four and fourteen years-old.

If you would like to experience real Laos culture, gain some teaching
experience, have fun and live on the Mekong River – this is
the perfect project for you! It’s also a great opportunity to learn about
traditional bamboo building techniques and share your skills with the project.

The generous support of our volunteers helps to fund the project so we ask for a
contribution towards your food and accommodation:

1 week volunteering: $60USD/week
2 weeks volunteering: $55USD/week
3 weeks volunteering: $50USD/week
1 month or long-term stay: $40USD/week

What’s included:

Tea and coffee
3 meals per day
A single bed in a shared room or double private room
Boat pick up and transfer and boat travel to the Bamboo Project.
